June 2010 - On behalf of the Corona United Soccer Club we would like to thank all of the teams who attended the 2nd Annual Circle City Cup.  The tournament was a great success.  We would like to express our appreciation to our staff/volunteers for their time and commitment.  We look forward to seeing you next year at the 3rd Annual Circle City Cup.

  Corona United Soccer Club was founded in 1992, to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of youth through the sport of soccer for players with advanced skills and an ambition that can't be satisfied with recreational soccer.  The club has grown over the years through the dedication and hard work of many great volunteers, coaches, trainers, parents, and players. This March the club took the next move towards its vision of being the premier soccer player development club in Southern California.

CORONA UNITED GU11 (going U12) is holding open tryouts.   The GU11 Silver Elite team just completed another eventful 2010 State Cup run.  The team made its second FINAL 8 appearance in two years. A follow-up on last year's FINAL 4 spot in the 2009 State Cup. We are looking to fill roster spots for this GU11 Silver Elite team, as well as a new GU11 team.

      March 2010 - B' 00 DBWV Finalists     In March 2010, the Corona United BU9 team participated in the DBWV Shootout.  The boys faced FC Manchester United Red and South Coast Bayern and were victorious in both those games.  The last game of pool play had Corona United facing FC Manchester United Black in a rematch of their only loss in Fall Season League play. The result was a 4-1 loss.   Fortunately, Corona United was able to attempt to avenge that loss in a showdown with...

  July 14 - 25, 2010 - The G95 White Team traveled to Sweden to play in the 2010 Gothia Cup.  The Gothia Cup is a youth association football tournament held annually in Gothenburg, Sweden and is open for boys and girls of ages 11 to 19 to play.  It is one of the world’s largest football tournaments, with over 71 nations, 1600 participating teams and over 35,000 participants. 

Congratulations to G97 Blue!  After going undefeated in the qualifying games, not allowing any goals to be scored against them, and beating the top ranked Arizona team, the girls made it to the finals at the Cerritos Memorial Cup!  Well done girls!

May 2010 - After going through the learning curve of playing up an age group during Spring League, the Corona United G98 team got themselves into gear for Spring Cup.  The girls played up an age group, though this time around it was different.    Pool play saw them playing Freedom FC GU12, who they tied during the Spring season.  They beat Freedom handily  3-1.  The play of the girls adjusting to bigger and stronger competition...

May 2010 -   After a challenging spring soccer season, the GU14 girls switched into another gear for the 2010 Spring Cup.     The girls faced RAC Milan 3-0, Riverside Impact 0-0 and American United Blue 2-0 in pool play.   They finished in 1st place in their bracket and moved onto the semi-finals where they played the Laguna Niguel Rave.  The game went back and forth and ended in a 2-2 tie in regulation with a great all round effort by the team...
